Tacos Y Mas - Oak Lawn: Experience Authentic Mexican Flavors

The horchata was for sure authentic, none of Klass stuff! The rice and beans were so good… caught myself contemplating on getting more for to-go. The tables are super small. There were 4 of us and we were squeezing in for room.. overall, definitely will come back.

On Sunday afternoon April 20th i went into tacos y mas in cedar springs and placed an order and waited 30 minutes while 3 different partys received there order. Found out after paying $34 my order was never sent back to the kitchen to be prepared. I asked for my money back and the cashier refused and said she would put a rush on the order. When I finally got my order after 45 minutes the cup of salsa had hair on it. I'm very disappointed, terrible business.

When I had recommended this place to my Mexican girlfriend, she had warned that it wasn't very good. I read the reviews, and still thought it was worth a try. I'm glad I did end up going because the food was pretty good. The meat was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was just as good. I recommend the al pastor tacos. They were the best of all that we ordered.

Food and service was amazing. I ordered a chicken burrito combo and got a beef taco, rice and beans with it and a drink. The taco was packed with meat and that burrito! I couldn’t even finish it in one go, it was so much. I left the remaining half for my breakfast the next day. Really impressed with this place and would definitely return.

In Texas we love tacos!! Tuesday or any day… I could eat a taco! I’ve eaten here for years! I introduced my daughter to this spot last year. She’s a foodie like her mommy. And she was hooked. We originally go to the location off Ross. This was where I would go when I worked at the hospital. Since she started PT in Plano, we had to find one that was on the way to her school in downtown. And this location was perfect. It’s clean with easy parking. We started placing our order online and that has been a huge time saver. My daughter loves the cucumber water and breakfast burritos. I love the La gringa and just tried the breakfast quesadilla. I literally ate off of it for 3 days because it was so big. While I still like the one on Ross, I do prefer this location because I don’t have to stand outside to wait for my order. But we always love the “homey/local” feel of the Ross location. Love this place. We’ve only had breakfast here. But will def try the other items soon.

This taco place has the most amazing tacos and chips!! The chips have to be made fresh in the store because they’re delicious!!! The chipotle hot sauce is also amazing on tacos! It’s spicy but a flavorful spice. The restaurant is always clean and the employees are always nice. If you are a vegetarian, their veggie tacos are the best I’ve ever had!!!! I’m not a vegetarian and I loved them. We cater here from for work and they have never disappoint!! High recommend, you’ll love their food.

Fast service, fair prices, clean place, convenient location and delicious tacos! Parking is a little challenging since is a busy area but you might be able to park around the block or in the private parking lot. Between two people we ate 5 tacos and we ended super satisfied. My other friend order a burrito that it was so big that he couldn’t finish it. The business hours are until very late, I totally recommend this place.

I've been to this location twice. The food here is decent. Unfortunately, each time i've came there was some negative experiences. First, each time i've gone it has smelled like cleaning/ bleach/ sewage. Which isn't the best when you're eating. Second, the customer service wasn't super friendly. Third, the bathroom never has either soap or paper towels. All this to say, I have only came between 2-4am. This could have something to do with it, but regardless, I hope for a different experience next time.
